About pat56

I am writing on behalf Of my niece Patricia  She is a 54 yr. old  disabled cancer survivor with cancer for the second time. She is a wife and mother of 10 &13 yr old girls who have chronic asthma. Her husband has been unemployed for the last one and half yrs, he also struggles with Bi-Polar disease.

They have been surviving off of his unemployment check which is not ample to provide food, clothing, utilities and some medications. Their house was in foreclosure and utilities shut off. The state of Pennsylvania had denied them food stamps and cash assistance because he gets unemployment which does not pay for most of their needs. Patricia is currently battling not only aggressive cancer for the second time but also has COPD, Asthma, High blood pressure, Acid- reflux and a  Systolic heart murmur.

Patricia had surgery June 31, 2010 for the cancer, afterwards her Chemo-Therapy was held up due to her surgical biopsy which revealed more cancer in lymph nodes in her chest. She is now receiving Chemo with all it’s side affects. This family has more than their share of medical problem, however because of their faith they continue to trust God to provide for them until they can provide for themselves.

Now that I have shared the medical history, I would like to petition your help to lift some burdens from them. Since their loss of income they have not been able to make repairs or purchase items to maintain their home. In addition their car was totaled by an uninsured driver and they were not able to replace it because they only had liability insurance.  Some major items that need to be taking care of is; The kitchen range is not working after being repaired multiple times and need to be replaced. The microwave is barely working due to being over used because kitchen stove is broke. The roof has been leaking all summer and the bathroom is leaking destroying the ceiling under it.

While I know it may not be possible to assist in all these areas, I pray that you will consider their circumstance and help as much as you can. We thank you in advance for any help you can render.

Sincerely,

Diane  (on behalf of Patricia)
